Vintage 1970's
Vintage Fenton Bicentennial commemorative plate in blue milk glass, created as the official 1974 Bicentennial project of the General Federation of Women's Clubs. Titled "Life, Liberty & the Pursuit of Happiness," the plate depicts Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, and Thomas Jefferson as they gathered to draft the Declaration of Independence, commemorating one of the most significant moments in American history.
Expertly crafted by Fenton, this commemorative plate is a wonderful addition to collections of patriotic memorabilia, Fenton glass, or Bicentennial collectibles.
The plate measures approximately 8¼" in diameter.
It is in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There are a few dark marks on the back from a previous plate hanger, but they do not detract from the display of the piece. The plate bears the Fenton logo, confirming its authenticity.
