Vintage between 1900-1911

A beautiful example of classic English transferware, this Whieldon / F. Winkle semi-porcelain serving bowl features the timeless “Pheasant” pattern, rich with pastoral detail and old-world charm. The deep bowl form makes it both decorative and practical—perfect for serving vegetables, salads, or displaying fruit on a farmhouse or traditional table.

The detailed pheasant motif, inspired by English countryside scenes, is rendered in a warm, earthy palette that pairs effortlessly with both vintage and modern table settings. Crafted in durable semi-porcelain, this piece reflects the quality and artistry associated with F. Winkle & Co., England, making it a wonderful find for collectors and admirers of antique and early 20th-century ceramics. The serving/vegetable bowl has some normal manufacturing marks and some crazing that comes from 100 years of being loved and used but does not have any chips or cracks. The bowl measures 9: in diameter and 4" in depth.

Perfect as a functional serving piece, decorative accent, or collector’s display, this bowl brings a sense of history and timeless elegance to any home.
