Vintage 1970's

Vintage Fenton Bicentennial commemorative plate in blue milk glass, created as the official 1974 Bicentennial project of the General Federation of Women's Clubs. Titled "Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death," the plate honors Patrick Henry's famous 1775 speech, capturing the spirit of America's struggle for independence in beautifully detailed raised relief.

Crafted by Fenton, this commemorative plate is a wonderful piece of American history and an excellent addition to collections of patriotic memorabilia, Fenton glass, or Bicentennial commemoratives.

The plate measures approximately 8¼" in diameter.

It is in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There are a few dark marks on the back from a previous plate hanger, but they do not detract from the display of the piece. The plate bears the Fenton logo, confirming its authenticity.
