Antique 1885–1910
Antique Gibson Staffordshire clay teapot, hand painted with a beautiful floral design in warm orange and teal tones accented by rich gold leaves and scrolling details. The teapot measures approximately 9½" from the tip of the spout to the end of the handle and 6" high.
 
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks. The only noted imperfection is a small area of exposed clay around the Gibson backstamp on the base, which occurred during production. Otherwise, this teapot appears to have seen little, if any, use, with the hand-painted decoration and gold accents beautifully preserved.
