Vintage Argyle "Ruby Wedding" Teacup and Saucer Set. Made in England, Bone China. The Teacup is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Approximate measurements are Saucer is 5 1/2" in diameter, top of the cup is 5 3/8" in diameter and 3" in height. The Ruby Wedding symbolizes the 40th anniversary which known as the Ruby Anniversary. ... The inner fire of a ruby is thought to represent the burning flame of passion in the hearts of a couple who have been together for 40 years.
